What is this?

Overture Events is a complete one-page conference site for a fictional three-day design-engineering event. It pairs loud, poster-style typography with the parts attendees actually use: a schedule they can filter by day and track, a personal agenda that persists on their device, detects clashes and exports to their calendar, speaker bios in a drawer, and a ticket picker with live totals, group discounts and a mock checkout ready to hand off to your payment provider.

Who is it for?

Organisers of conferences, meetups, festivals and summits who want a site that feels like an event poster but behaves like a product — and developers building one for a client who need the schedule, tickets and travel sections done properly instead of as static lists.

A schedule people can plan with

Day tabs, multi-select track filters and a bookmark on every session. Saved sessions persist in localStorage, show up in the nav counter and filter into a personal agenda.

Clash detection and calendar export

Overlapping sessions in your agenda are flagged inline, and the whole agenda downloads as an .ics file with venue-local times.

Live countdown hero

A giant rising wordmark, slow orbiting rings and a countdown whose digits roll in place — rendered without hydration mismatches.

Tickets with real arithmetic

Quantity steppers per tier, seat-left meters, an automatic group discount, a promo code and totals that roll as they change.

Mock checkout and confirmation

A drawer with validated buyer details, a loading state and an animated confirmation with ticket stubs. Swap one handler for your hosted checkout.

Speakers, venue and sponsors

Monogram speaker cards with a bio drawer, a hand-drawn SVG map whose travel routes light up on hover, and typeset sponsor wordmarks.
