What is this?

Quill Creator is a quiet, typographic home for a writer's newsletter. A home page leads with the newsletter's promise and a subscribe form, followed by the latest letter and a list of recent issues. Each issue opens in a reader built for long-form: serif text with a drop cap, pull quotes, drawn figures, footnotes that link both ways, a scroll-linked progress bar and adjustable size and typeface. The archive searches full text, and subscribing anywhere flips every form on the site to a warm success state.

Writers, essayists, critics and independent publishers who send a newsletter and want a site that reads as well as the letters themselves — and studios building creator sites that need a polished reader view and archive out of the box.

A reader built for long-form

Serif body with a drop cap, pull quotes that break the column, figures drawn with shapes, and footnotes with jump and back-links.

Reading progress and controls

A scroll-linked progress bar, a minutes-left ring, three text sizes and a serif/sans switch that animate between states.

Subscribe that remembers

Validation, a pending state and a shared success state persisted to localStorage, so every form on the site agrees you're on the list.

Full-text archive search

Search titles and bodies with highlighted matches, press / to focus, filter by topic and browse results grouped by year.

In-page router with deep links

Home, issue, archive and about screens cross-fade in place, and ?screen=issue&issue=110 opens any letter directly.
