GetUrUI

Pro registry

Pro items install with the same CLI as free ones. The only difference is a token that proves your plan.

Create a token

Open Dashboard → Registry tokens → New token. Tokens start with gurui_ and are shown once — store it as an environment variable:

.env.local
1GETURUI_TOKEN=gurui_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Configure components.json

components.json
1{
2  "registries": {
3    "@geturui": "https://geturui.com/r/{name}.json",
4    "@geturui-pro": {
5      "url": "https://geturui.com/r/pro/{name}.json",
6      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ${GETURUI_TOKEN}" }
7    }
8  }
9}

Install

terminal
1npx shadcn@latest add @geturui-pro/dynamic-island

Free dependencies resolve from @geturui automatically. A request without a valid token, or after a Yearly plan ends, returns 401 or 403 with the reason.

Download instead

Every Pro docs page has a Download source button when you're signed in with access. The zip contains the item and the GetUrUI items it imports, at the paths the CLI would use.

Teams and CI

  • Each teammate signs in and creates their own token — tokens are personal.
  • For CI, create a token named after the pipeline and revoke it from the dashboard when you rotate.
  • Your license key (GURUI-…, in your receipt) also works as a bearer token, but a revocable registry token is safer.
